Un domingo en el mercado

Por fin encontré un mercado cerca de casa. Los domingos hay mucha gente, así que me di cuenta de que es mejor llegar temprano. La fruta está muy buena y además es barata. Ya tengo ganas de volver la próxima semana.

Arrow keys pick a word, Enter translates it. Tab reaches the highlighted words.

How a word sticks

  1. Double-click it

Chrome translates it on your computer. One more click saves it as a card.

  2. Review it while you browse

A card shows up in the corner every 5 to 60 minutes, you pick. FSRS decides when it comes back.

  3. See it everywhere

On any Spanish page, the word gets a soft coral highlight. Hover it to check the meaning.

  4. Then the mark goes away

Once you know a word well, Fluany stops marking it.

Your Spanish deck starts with the words you save.

There's no ready-made Spanish deck yet. Double-click a word you don't know, save it, and it turns into a card.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. You sign in with Google once and that's it. No ads, nothing to unlock.

What do you get from my Google account?

Your name and email. Not your Gmail, contacts or files. Your cards stay in your browser.

Is there a ready-made Spanish deck?

Not yet. For now only English comes with one. In Spanish you build your deck from the words you save, or import one from Anki, Quizlet or a CSV.

Does translation work offline?

On desktop Chrome 138 or newer, yes, after a one-time download of the language. Other browsers get a Google Translate link instead.

Can I use it on my phone?

No. Fluany is made for Chrome on a computer. Open this page there and install it in a few seconds.

Where are my cards saved?

In your browser. Uninstalling Fluany deletes them, so export a backup first if you want to keep them.

Which words get highlighted?

Words you saved or already reviewed, and only on pages in Spanish. Words you know well stop getting marked. You can turn it off in Settings.
